I am an employee. Can I order your meals?
Yes! We are happy to offer the same plan for any employee who would like to participate. Delivery and pick-up would still occur at the area office. Please contact us to secure a spot for the upcoming month’s meal delivery.
How does the billing work?
We require pre-payment for 1 month of the BioBalance food program. Prepayment must be received 1 week before the first Monday (delivery day) of each month.
Example: The first Monday of September 2019 is the 2nd. Prepayment would be due 1 week prior on August 26th.
Who is preparing the meals?
We have a team of properly licensed food lovers who manage every step of the food preparation.
Where are the meals prepared?
All meals are prepared in a USDA licensed commercial kitchen in the Salt Lake Area.
Does BioBalance adhere to a specific diet plan?
We know words like “paleo” or “keto” are hot right now, but we will be following USDA nutrition guidelines for a balanced diet. Meals will include a variety of whole grains, vegetables, fruit, lean meat, and dairy.
Will there be options for dietary restrictions (allergies, etc)?
At this stage of the program we will be unable to provide meals that require individual preparation. We will provide meals that are appropriate for the general population. Accommodating unique dietary needs will be part of the growth plan.
What nutritional information will be provided with the meal?
Each meal will be labeled based on USDA guidelines. The label will contain allergen information, ingredients, storage and heating instructions as well as which weekday the meal is for.
When and where will the meals be delivered?
Meals will be delivered on a weekly basis, every Monday morning at a prearranged delivery time. Delivery windows vary depending on the office. At the prearranged delivery time the meals will be delivered to the area Chrysalis office.
Who will be responsible to pick up the meals?
Each house manager will be responsible for picking up their client’s meals during a set delivery window. In order for prepared food to remain safe, meals must be picked up within 1 hour of delivery.
How many meals are included in each delivery?
Every delivery will include 10 meals per participating client. The BioBalance program includes a meal for lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday.
What types of foods will be on the menu?
We will offer a wide variety of foods ranging from fresh asian fare to classic roast and potatoes. In order to keep the menu fresh and unique, meals will not be repeated during a calendar month.
Will there be substitutions if a client does not like a meal?
At this time we will not offer substitutions. The menu will be the same for each client every week. Providing meal substitutions is part of the BioBalance future growth plan.
Can clients request favorite foods?
Yes! We love to cater to our customers . If there is a special request for a food item or meal, please contact us. We will do our best to serve it on the next month’s menu.
How long are the meals good for?
Fresh meals will stay fresh if kept refrigerated for 3-4 days. The meals for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday should be stored in the fridge. Meals for Thursday and Friday will be “freezer” meals, and will be labeled with instructions to store in the freezer.
How complicated will the preparation of the meals be?
Every BioBalance meal will be ready to heat in a microwave or ready to eat in the container it is received in.
Will there be substitutions if a client does not like a meal?
At this time we will not offer substitutions. The menu will be the same for each client every week. Providing meal substitutions is part of the BioBalance future growth plan.
